General Questions​

What is happening to the $OPEN token?​

$OPEN is merging with the Yield Alliance ecosystem and will be converted to $LVVA tokens. This merger combines Open Custody Protocol's infrastructure with Levva.fi's DeFi solutions and YieldWard's AI-powered yield optimization. The goal is one single synergistic stack of protocols and products, unified under one token - $LVVA.

Which token will become the main one?​

$LVVA token will become the token after the merge event. $LVVA will drive all ecosystem activities, from governance to utility, creating a unified foundation to expand and grow the Yield Alliance. The goal of merging all tokens under the $LVVA token is to have a single synergistic stack of protocols and products, all using one utility token.

What is the conversion ratio?​

$OPEN tokens will be converted to $LVVA at a 1:1 ratio. FDV will remain the same as $OPEN.

When does the migration begin?​

The migration process will start in the upcoming days and end on March 7th, 2025.

Swap Process​

I hold my $OPEN tokens on an exchange. What should I do?​

If your tokens are on an exchange, the swap will happen automatically. We will publish a list of supporting exchanges and their specific swap dates in the coming days through our official channels.

I have my $OPEN tokens staked or in a self custodial wallet. What should I do?​

If your tokens are on a self custodial wallet like MetaMask, Trust Wallet or similar, go directly to Step 2.

Step 1 - Unstake of $OPEN Tokens​

The first step will be to unstake your tokens from the OPEN Staking platform.

DO NOT CLAIM BEFORE You must select “UNSTAKE.” This will withdraw both your staked tokens and any pending rewards.

As a reminder, you will need ETH as gas to be able to unstake, as these are all onchain actions

Step-by-step OPEN Unstake guide

  1. Visit https://stake.opencustody.org

  2. Connect your wallet.

  3. Click "Unstake" on the $OPEN section

  4. Approve unstaking transaction on your wallet.

You should receive your staked $OPEN tokens and the staking rewards accrued until today on your wallet.

Step 2 - Lock $OPEN tokens on Levva.fi to obtain $LVVA tokens​

Visit: https://levva.fi/openstaking

OPEN Lock at Levva

  1. Choose the amount of $OPEN tokens to lock
  2. Approve on the UI
  3. Approve the transaction on your wallet that approves the spending cap (allowance).
  4. Once the previous transaction is confirmed, you will be able to proceed with the locking of OPEN and swap for LVVA by clicking "Get LVVA".
  5. A new transaction will appear on your wallet for approval.

Your $OPEN tokens are now locked at Levva, pending the swap to $LVVA. When claiming on March 7th, you can select extended lock periods for additional reward rates. These reward options will be available on the Levva platform's claiming interface

Which blockchain will $LVVA be on?​

$LVVA is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network. This ensures maximum exchange support and liquidity.

What happens to my OG airdrop eligibility?​

Good news for OG NFT holders! Your 2025 airdrop eligibility remains completely intact through the migration. Here's what you need to know:

  • Keep holding your OG NFT
  • Maintain the same token amount in LVVA as previously required in OPEN
  • Your airdrop claim rights stay exactly the same
  • The 2025 airdrop schedule remains unchanged

In other words, the token migration won't affect your OG status or airdrop rights at all - we're making sure our early supporters are taken care of!

Security​

How can I ensure a safe migration?​

  • Only use official platforms (stake.opencustody.org and levva.fi)

  • Never send tokens or connect your wallet to unofficial sources

  • Always verify information through official channels

  • Do not purchase any unofficial tokens claiming to be $LVVA

  • No team member will never open a DM through Telegram, Discord or X.

  • Double check announcements on official channels to avoid Telegram scam groups.
